About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead and direct the Office of Enterprise Technology. The CIO will be responsible for ensuring that all information technology activities within the department are in compliance with relevant policies, standards, and procedures. This includes overseeing the development, acquisition, and management of IT systems, as well as collaborating with key security and data officers to maintain information security and data integrity. The successful candidate will also be tasked with monitoring the performance of IT investments, developing disaster recovery plans, and working with program directors to ensure stakeholder participation in IT projects.Applicants for the CIO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years' of IT leadership experience, including at least 3 years' in a large organizational setting. The role requires a strategic leader who can balance innovation with a strong focus on cybersecurity and data privacy. Experience in enterprise IT system planning and implementation, project management, and a background in application development, enterprise architecture, or IT service management is preferred. The CIO will be expected to develop and enforce IT staff performance evaluations, as well as ensure that all IT activities align with best practices and state laws.
