About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to provide strategic leadership and oversee the design, implementation, and management of its IT systems. The CIO will be a key member of the Executive Team, responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the organization's goals. This includes fostering collaboration between clinical, administrative, and technical teams, and ensuring the security and optimization of IT services, particularly in the context of the implementation and maintenance of electronic health records (EHR) systems. The role also involves driving innovation and digital transformation, identifying and championing emerging technologies that enhance patient care and operational efficiency.Candidates for the CIO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. A strong background in IT project management, a deep understanding of networks, EHR systems, interoperability, and data analytics is essential. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a senior IT leadership role within the healthcare sector, with excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of FQHC healthcare organizations and experience with OCHIN Epic is a plus. The CIO will also be responsible for leading a dynamic team of IT professionals, EHR support and Epic implementation team, data analytic team, and health information team, and must be adept at team leadership and staff development.
