About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead and oversee all aspects of operational performance within its manufacturing facilities. The successful candidate will be tasked with driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet production goals and ensure the delivery of high-quality products. This role is pivotal in maintaining compliance with food safety regulations, including USDA standards and SQF3, and requires a leader who can effectively allocate resources, optimize asset utilization, and manage cross-functional teams. The Vice President of Operations will be responsible for developing and implementing operational strategies, enhancing production capacity, and minimizing costs while maintaining a strong focus on product quality and on-time delivery.Candidates for the Vice President of Operations position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in business, mechanical, or chemical engineering, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in plant operations. A strong background in budgeting, strategic planning, and resource allocation is essential, as is familiarity with food safety regulations and protocols. The role demands a leader with the ability to set clear metrics for success, lead root cause analysis investigations, and ensure accountability for production output. Proficiency in MS Office is required, and experience with MRP systems such as Microsoft NAV, Just Foods, SAP, or similar ERP systems is highly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of urgency and be adept at equipment operation and troubleshooting.
