Infection Preventionist

Location: Manhattan, NY 10016

Pay Rate: $80.18 per hour (Hourly, W-2, Bi-weekly)

Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours per week)

Duration: 3+ Months (Temp to Perm)

Department: Infection Control, Bellevue

Qualifications:

Education:

Master’s degree in Epidemiology, Microbiology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, Nursing, or a related discipline with 4 years of clinical experience

OR

Baccalaureate degree in a related discipline with 5 years of experience in infection prevention, healthcare epidemiology, or a related field.

Experience: Satisfactory clinical experience or working in infection prevention and control within a healthcare setting, preferred.

Certification: Infection Control (CIC) certification required.

Additional: Epic experience preferred.

This role involves ensuring infection prevention and control practices are followed in a hospital setting.
