In addition to our clinical care, we are dedicated to advancing neuroscience and revolutionizing neuromodulation treatment through the Acacia Research Center (ARC). Our in-house research team analyzes real-world treatment outcomes data to fully understand the efficacy of novel treatment approaches including TMS and transcranial focused ultrasound. These findings inform and guide decision-making, enabling continuous optimization of personalized treatment protocols to provide the best possible care for our patients.
Position Summary: We are seeking a passionate and skilled full-time Psychiatrist to join our dynamic clinical team at Acacia Clinics in Sunnyvale, California. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in advanced neuromodulation treatments and will be eager to contribute to a pioneering clinic that integrates innovative techniques with personalized patient care. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and develop treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Provide psychiatric care and medication management, including Spravato administration for treatment-resistant depression.
- Deliver and oversee advanced neuromodulation treatments, including conventional TMS and accelerated fMRI-guided TMS.
- Collaborate with Acacia Research Center (ARC) and its research team to review treatment outcomes data and inform clinical decisions for continuous improvement of treatment protocols.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians to ensure holistic and integrated care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in psychiatry, neuromodulation, and mental health care.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options, procedures, and care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with clinic policies and regulatory standards.
- Participate in case consultations, clinical meetings, and contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical protocols.
Qualifications: - Doctor of Medicine (MD) with a specialty in Psychiatry.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Psychiatry.
- Active California medical license or the ability to obtain licensure prior to starting.
- Experience with TMS and/or esketamine treatment is preferred but not required. Comprehensive training will be provided.
- Strong interest in neuromodulation, neuroscience, cutting-edge psychiatric treatments, and innovative mental health solutions.
- Interest in participating in research initiatives and data-driven treatment optimizations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Compensation: - Annual Salary Range: $250,000 to $375,000 with bonuses.
- Signing Bonus: Additional $50,000.
- Total Compensation: Up to $425,000 in your first year.
