We are looking for a strong baker to join our small Artisan bakery in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
We specialize in all gluten-free breads, bagels, cookies, and seasonal treats. The ideal candidate should have 3+ years experience working in a bakery/commercial kitchen, production baking a plus.
The ideal candidate is:
- punctual, reliable, with good problem solving skills
-Ability to weigh, mix and bake products based on recipes and kitchen standards
-Open to learning new techniques, such as vegan/gluten-free baking and wild fermentation
-Attention to detail, thoughtful and organized in your work
-Comfortable with working for 8+ hours, standing, lifting, portioning etc
-Must be eligible to work in the U.S/have food handlers license
-Work well with others, positive attitude!
-Knowledge/experience with vegan/gluten-free baking is a plus
-We speak both Spanish and English in the kitchen.
