Job Overview:
We are looking for a versatile and dedicated Lead Line Cook to join our ghost kitchen team. This role demands a jack-of-all-trades attitude as the candidate will be involved in every aspect of kitchen operations—from fulfilling orders to kitchen maintenance tasks such as dishwashing, trash disposal, and food preparation. The ideal candidate will primarily handle order fulfillment but must be ready to take on various roles as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Manage and fulfill orders efficiently, ensuring high-quality food presentation and timely delivery.
• Perform all kitchen duties including prepping ingredients, washing dishes, and disposing of trash.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area throughout the shift.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain kitchen equipment.
• Assist in training and guiding junior kitchen staff.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in a kitchen environment, with a strong preference for expertise in Latin cuisine.
• Ability to manage a high volume of orders with precision and speed.
• Versatile and willing to fill multiple roles within the kitchen as required.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• C ulinary training is required.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and handling kitchen equipment.
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures.
