Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify construction decision-makers and leads, negotiate contracts, and close sales with a focus on driving business growth.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with both existing customers and new leads, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of key clients' needs, including those of managers and supervisors, to provide tailored solutions and build trust.
  • Utilize your construction expertise to assist clients in decision-making and developing comprehensive scopes of work that align with their goals.
  • Collaborate with estimators and superintendents to define job scopes, provide accurate estimates, and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Produce competitive proposals in a timely manner and work diligently to close sales, driving company revenue.
  • Engage in pre-construction, progress, and final job meetings to ensure alignment with client expectations and project requirements.
  • Visit job sites regularly, communicate with superintendents and project managers, and provide accurate updates to both customers and internal teams.
  • Contribute to profitability by ensuring timely, accurate invoicing and effective collection of payments from clients.
  • Develop new customer relationships and maintain customer satisfaction by writing thank-you notes and staying engaged.
  • Create and manage a detailed customer account database, reviewing and updating it regularly to assess customer status and opportunities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, including local and state apartment associations, building strong connections within the industry.
  • Engage clients through entertainment at various local and state events to build and strengthen business relationships.
  • Complete weekly and monthly reports and actively participate in sales meetings to share progress and align on goals.
  • Be ready to assist the company in any capacity during emergency or catastrophic events.
  • Consistently adhere to the company’s core values in all aspects of your work.


Requirements:

  • Multi-family industry experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong social skills with the ability to effectively communicate and negotiate to close deals and increase sales.
  • Exceptional active listening skills to understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple, conflicting deadlines and creatively solve problems under pressure.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Completion of OSHA 10 certification is required.
