Location : Huntington Park | South Central area-between the downtown area and the border with the city of Vernon

Hours : 8:00am-4:30pm PT | Onsite M-F

Position Summary

Our client, a women's denim brand based in Los Angeles, CA is looking to hire an experienced and bilingual Human Resources Generalist to join their team. This role is essential to supporting our workforce, ensuring compliance, and driving employee engagement. The ideal candidate will have experience with payroll, OSHA regulations, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR contact for English and Spanish-speaking employees, ensuring clear communication across the workforce, lead the day-to-day HR operations
• Handles payroll on a semi-monthly and weekly basis for both salaried and hourly employees.
• Ensures that policies are in alignment with new laws and maintain FSLA standards.
• Records attendance, time-off requests, and all employee documentation.
• Solution-driven mentality in regard to employee conflict and representing upper management.
• Onboarding, terminating, recruiting, and enrolling benefits for employees/new hires.
• In charge of managing supplies required for all departments.
• Be the direct point of reference whenever an employee has a question or requires assistance.
• Able to conduct all tasks and responsibilities with complete confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bilingual (English and Spanish) required.
• 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in a warehouse, wholesale, or manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and warehouse/forklift safety standards preferred.
• Experience handling payroll; knowledge of Rippling is a plus.
• Knowledge of federal and state labor laws and compliance requirements.
