Our client is looking for an enthusiastic IT Field Engineer to become a part of their team. In this key position, you will travel to different locations to install and configure IT equipment as part of regular site rollouts. You'll also be responsible for performing preventative maintenance at established sites and offering on-site support for break-fix needs when necessary. This is a field-based role that requires frequent travel and hands-on technical work at their showrooms and studios.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deploy IT infrastructure and services at new locations on a weekly basis.
• Provide prompt and comprehensive IT support for desktop/laptop systems, mobile devices, printers, network connectivity, and more, minimizing downtime.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance at existing locations.
• Install and configure a range of standard and custom IT equipment, which may include drilling and mounting.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Windows and IoT operating systems.
• Ensure all installations and maintenance tasks comply with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain clear and effective communication while offering support to internal customers and team members.

Requirements:

• Experience in an IT field engineer or similar role.
• Understanding of Windows operating systems and domain services (AD, Azure, InTune, GPO).
• Hands-on experience with installing and troubleshooting IT hardware and software.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as drilling and mounting equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours.

Desirable Skills:

• Certification in relevant IT fields (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert).
• Understanding of multiple MDM platforms (Jamf, OneLan, Yodeck)
