Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Software Engineer to join our team. Under technical direction, the ideal candidate will analyze client area requirements and processes, prepare application system specifications, and program automated solutions or integrate applications to resolve business problems. The focus of this position will be designing or developing business applications and/or designing or developing alternative solutions. This position will likely be a contract to hire role for the right person. .
Responsibilities:
Design and develop moderate to complex application program solutions.
Ensure quality through code reviews, documentation, and testing.
Consult with clients to analyze system requirements and resolve problems.
Research and recommend efficient and cost-effective solutions.
Support the implementation of applications into production and testing environments.
Collaborate with MSP partners on billing solutions.
Utilize React for front-end and Java for back-end development.
Education and Years of Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
Typically, a minimum of five years of application program development experience.
Applicable certificates preferred.
Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of the system development life cycle and application development alternatives.
Proficiency in Java/J2EE, Python, React, and JavaScript.
Experience with JDK 11 and JDK 17, Spring ecosystem, and GCP.
Understanding of JUnit, SonarQube, and cloud implementation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as an individual contributor in a collaborative environment.
Additional Information:
Prefers someone local so they can work hybrid and come into the office one day a week (Tuesday/Wednesday).
Will require the consultant to come into the office for PI Planning meetings quarterly
