Role Overview:

IT Manager- Cybersecurity

This is a full-time role located in Dallas Texas. Our client is an amazing start-up company poised to defend against increased cybersecurity challenges. This role will offer an ambitious Cybersecurity IT Manager a very unique career growth opportunity. The Cybersecurity Professional will be responsible for building and implementing cutting-edge reponses and ensuring application security, network security, and information security, as well as managing cyber threats. Daily tasks will involve monitoring and responding to security incidents, implementing security measures, and conducting security assessments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science.
• 5 plus years in IT, preferably at the managerial level, prior experience in a cybersecurity company
• Security Clearance
• Application Security and Information Security skills
• Proficiency in Cybersecurity and Network Security
• Experience in managing cyber threats
• Knowledge in Cyber practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Experience in the defense or intelligence sectors is a plus
• Exposure to adversarial and defensive cybersecurity ( a proven track record is a huge plus)
