Perm Executive Administrative Assistant
Location: Midtown, Manhattan
Salary: $60-$65k
We are recruiting for our client, a non-profit organization seeking Executive Administrative Assistant to support their CEO and senior-level executives. This role requires someone who can handle a variety of responsibilities while working in a collaborative, team-oriented culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for supportive housing acquisition, development, and renovation projects.
- Assist with strategic planning, policy development, and reviews.
- Schedule, prepare documents, and take minutes for Board meetings.
- Support equity and inclusion initiatives, including planning and implementing the annual Juneteenth Day of Service.
- Maintain and update records for policies, procedures, properties, contracts, and entities.
- Assist with government grant writing and copy editing.
- Ensure compliance of firm’s standards, including coordinating risk and performance management meetings.
- Maintain compliance and prequalification status with accreditors and funding portals.
- Assist in planning and implementing quarterly Committee meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a field emphasizing writing and research.
- 2–3 years of post-college employment experience required; nonprofit experience preferred.
- Possess critical thinking, organizational skills, and written/verbal communication abilities.
- Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs is required, data analysis experience is a plus.
- Willingness to obtain a Notary Public license (if not already secured).
