We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst with experience in Securities Settlements.
Key Responsibilities:
Securities Settlements Expertise:
- Deep understanding of the securities settlements lifecycle, including trade confirmations, settlement instructions, corporate actions, and exception processing.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to securities settlements.
- Knowledge of middle office operations,
Business Analysis & Process Improvement:
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across various departments (e.g., Operations, Trading, Legal, Compliance).
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project progress effectively.
Technology & Systems:
- Experience with JIRA or other project management tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with relevant technologies and systems used in securities settlements (e.g., trade order management systems, settlement systems).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services industry, with a strong focus on securities settlements.
- Proven experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, JIRA).
