We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Line Technician for an Injection Molding manufacturing company in Romeoville, IL . This role is essential to maintaining and improving production operations and offers room for advancement and growth opportunities. This is a Permanent Direct-Hire opportunity NOT a Temp job. Please see below an overview of the job duties, requirements and shifts currently available.

Positions Available: BOTH 2nd AND 3rd Shift:

• 2nd Shift: 1:30 PM - 10:30 PM (Mon - Fri, with every other Saturday mandatory overtime)
• 3rd Shift: 9:45 PM - 6:30 AM (Mon - Fri, with every other Saturday mandatory overtime)

Pay Rate: $30.00hr - $40.00hr - Depending on Experience + Generous PTO and Benefit Package

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Setup: Set up molds and equipment as scheduled or needed.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Perform routine equipment maintenance, and identify/document root causes of issues.
• Data Management: Track and record setup times, downtime, and scrap.
• Workplace Organization: Maintain 5S standards and support improvement initiatives through A3 projects and shift tasks.
• Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in improvement projects and tasks as assigned.
• Maintain well-organized work cells that meet productivity standards.
• Uphold scrap rates, uptime, and productivity metrics.
• Adhere to 5S cleanliness and organizational guidelines.

Required Experience:

• 3-5yrs of experience within a Maintenance Technician, or Line Technician position
• Experience Injection Molding industry preferred - (3 Axis Whittmann & Arbor Machinery)
• Strong background in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• Plastic processing knowledge within a Injection molding manufacturing environment
• Experience with PLC controls and robot programming for troubleshooting purposes
• Understanding of quality control (SPC, QMS) process, procedures and standards
• Familiarity with material handling equipment
• Adherence to KPIs, 5S principles, and A3 project execution standards
