Position: Level II IT Support Specialist
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Full Time - Hourly
Overview:
We are seeking a motivated IT professional to handle advanced technical support and ensure exceptional customer service. This full-time role involves troubleshooting, system administration, and collaborating in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair PCs, printers, scanners, and network issues.
- Provide advanced support for Windows 10/11 and manage user accounts.
- Assist end-users with escalated issues via desk-side and remote support.
- Handle imaging, deployment, and maintenance of desktop/laptop systems.
- Install, configure, and update software.
- Maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
- Manage audio/visual equipment and vendor relationships for repairs and upgrades.
- Work with infrastructure teams on server maintenance and projects.
- Stay updated on technology trends and suggest improvements.
- Mentor Level I support team members.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of IT support experience.
- Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of operating systems, hardware, and software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
