The Special Projects Leader & Executive Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting sales initiatives and serves as the main point of contact for sales and executive leaders. This position helps ensure communication and collaboration across national sales teams, contributing to business goal achievement. The ideal candidate is a structured, detail-oriented project manager with a proven ability to deliver results in dynamic environments. They must build trusted relationships, support national sales leaders, and embody professionalism and company values. Responsibilities include managing schedules, coordinating meetings, preparing reports, organizing events and travel and overseeing administrative tasks to support key business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate special projects by mobilizing, preparing, executing and tracking progress.
- Implement a structured framework and approach to large-scale specials projects for success.
- Maintain project documentation, communicates with stakeholders, and identifies potential risks or issues.
- Manage administrative initiatives, assigning tasks and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Communicate status updates of projects and resources, ensuring proper delegation.
- Leverage subject matter expertise to drive progress, make recommendations and demonstrate initiative to foster solutions and results.
- Takes action, leverages expertise and relations to deliver results and meet deadlines.
- Plan, support and facilitate special events and training session by hosted by collaborating with stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
- Support a variety of administrative tasks, including managing schedules, coordinating and recording meetings, preparing reports, scheduling events, coordinating travel, managing expense accounts and supporting the success of key department and business initiatives.
Credentials & Experience
- Requires an associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of relevant project management work experience
- CAPM or CPM, preferred
