Are you a hospitality Rockstar who knows how to lead a team, keep operations running smoothly, and make every guest’s experience unforgettable? The Westin Lake Mary is looking for an Assistant General Manager (AGM)  who’s ready to bring energy, enthusiasm, and expertise to our hotel. If you love solving challenges, coaching teams, and creating memorable moments for guests, this role is for you!

Responsibilities

1. Keeping the Show Running

  • Oversee the day-to-day magic of the hotel—making sure everything from the front desk to housekeeping is on point.
  • Walk the property to keep an eye on cleanliness, service, and overall vibes (we’re all about those Westin vibes).
  • Step in when guests need help—whether it’s solving a hiccup or just making their stay extra special.

2. Leading an All-Star Team

  • Be the coach your team needs—train, mentor, and inspire our amazing staff.
  • Help department heads crush their goals and grow their teams.
  • Celebrate wins and create a culture where hard work and good attitudes shine.

3. Watching the Numbers

  • Partner with the GM to keep budgets on track and maximize profits (bonus points if you’ve got a knack for finding ways to save while keeping quality high).
  • Help with financial reports and keep expenses in check without compromising guest satisfaction.

4. Keeping It On-Brand

  • Make sure the hotel is always in line with Westin’s brand standards. From the look and feel to the service, it’s all about that signature Westin experience.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience:  You’ve been around the block in the hotel world—3+ years in a leadership role, preferably in a full-service property.
  • Boundary Breaker:  You think outside the box and see alternatives to improving operations and guest experience.
  • Leader Vibes:  You know how to rally a team and bring out their best.
  • Guest Obsessed:  Guests are your focus, and you know how to keep them happy and coming back.
  • Problem-Solver Extraordinaire:  Challenges? Bring them on—you’re great under pressure.
  • Financial Know-how:  You don’t shy away from budgets, forecasts, or financial reports.

Job Type: Full-time

  • Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
