POSITION SUMMARY: The Assistant General Manager (AGM) will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the operations including guest registration, night audit, housekeeping/laundry, food and beverage, pool and recreation, vendor and supplies, and maintenance to ensure top-notch guest satisfaction while also maximizing hotel profitability.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage Key Departments: Oversee the five main operating departments: Front Desk, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Purchasing, and Maintenance.
• Guest Experience: Welcome and greet guests, assist with room escorting, and support front desk staff during busy periods. Lead employees to provide the highest level of guest service while increasing operational efficiency.
• Recruitment and Development: Assist with recruiting, hiring, and developing front-line team members.
• Issue Resolution: Respond promptly to guest issues and ensure irregularities are recorded and addressed.
• Interdepartmental Relations: Foster strong relationships among front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance teams.
• Performance Management: Set clear performance expectations, provide continuous coaching, and complete various operational reports.
• Property Inspection: Tour and inspect properties daily, monitor cleanliness, cost control, and service quality.
• Financial Management: Assist in preparing forecasts and reports, develop and monitor budgets, and ensure adequate supplies and staffing. Manage the purchase of food and housekeeping supplies, ensuring cost efficiency.
• Sales Coordination: Align front desk activities with Sales Department initiatives and dynamic pricing strategies.
