Calculated Hire is in search of a Financial Analyst IV – Lead Rates & Regulatory Strategy Analyst

for our Utility Company Partner.

This position supports the development of pricing initiatives for their electric utilities. The role involves working on rate designs and customer programs related to clean energy, demand response, battery storage, and electric vehicles. It blends regulatory strategy, creative problem solving, and data analytics. Tools like Excel, SQL, Python, SAS, and Power BI will be used to analyze large datasets, perform modeling and financial calculations, and provide insights on load patterns and rate design.

Responsibilities:

• Provide regulatory strategy, reporting, and filing support, including rate case support.
• Conduct modeling and financial analysis for rate designs and programs.
• Perform customer cost-of-service and rate analysis.
• Enhance the value of rate designs and programs through customer engagement, measurement, verification (M&V), and feedback on design.
• Develop rate calculation tools and other customer resources.
• Conduct industry research and benchmarking.
