Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage on-site construction activities at Government locations. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Oversight: Manage all aspects of the construction process, including scheduling, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring project milestones are met.
• Site Supervision: Oversee daily site operations, ensuring compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the on-site construction team, fostering a productive and collaborative environment.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship meets company standards and project requirements.
• Safety Management: Implement and enforce safety protocols, including conducting safety meetings and maintaining OSHA compliance.
• Budget Management: Monitor project costs and work closely with project managers to ensure adherence to the budget.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of project progress, including daily reports, change orders, and site photos.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role.
• Extensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety standards.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore or equivalent).(will train)
• Valid (state) driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• OSHA certification (required).

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Bachelor’s / associate's degree or other in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required.
• Minimum of (5) years of on-site construction supervision experience.
