About the Role

As the Superintendent, you will be the on-site leader responsible for the overall execution of K-12 construction projects. Your expertise will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will manage daily site operations, coordinate subcontractors, enforce safety standards, and work closely with project teams to deliver successful outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on education-related projects in the Houston area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of construction site operations for K-12 projects, ensuring timely completion, adherence to budgets, and quality assurance.
• Manage and supervise subcontractors, ensuring they follow project specifications and safety protocols.
• Coordinate daily activities, monitor project progress, and adjust schedules to meet deadlines.
• Maintain a safe and organized job site, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure smooth project flow.
• Review and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure project requirements are met.
• Communicate effectively with clients, architects, vendors, and internal teams to foster strong relationships and successful project outcomes.
• Mentor and develop junior team members and help promote a positive work culture on-site.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, with significant experience in K-12 school projects.
• Proven ability to manage complex construction projects, from start to finish, while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, budgeting, and compliance regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• OSHA certification and other relevant safety training (preferred).
