Human Resources Business Partner – local candidates only

Our client, a well-established publicly traded company with a global presence, is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join their Dominguez, CA location. On site – local candidates only.

Responsibilities of the Human Resources Business Partner

• Developing and executing business and HR strategies
• Ensuring employment laws and benefits compliance
• Providing HR strategies coaching
• Collaborating with site management to ensure alignment between operational decisions and HR strategies
• Assisting with recruiting needs, interviewing process, job description development, and other TA functions
• Working with unions on grievances resolutions and contact negotiation
• Providing merit review process support
• Assisting with professional development management

Requirements of the Human Resources Business Partner

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related
• 5+ years of union and non union manufacturing operations Human Resources Business Partner experience
• Strong communication skills
• Strong organizational skills, with ability to effectively handle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
• Thorough understanding California state employment laws
• Ability to travel 30%

Compensation: $60-$75/hr

The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
