A manufacturing company in Duncan, SC is seeking a seasoned, hands-on human resources professional to perform and provide consultation on their daily practices included recruiting, employee relations, legal compliance, onboarding, payroll, etc. The ideal candidate loves analyzing, strategizing, and implementing new processes to wholistically improve business operations and culture.
This 3-6 month contract position has full-time hours of 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. The position is 100% onsite. Our client offers a competive hourly pay rate based on experience and alignment with their qualifications.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with company leadership
- Implement company culture, values and policies
- Screen, recruit, and interview potential employees
- On-board and train new employees
- Document and process off-boarding of employees
- Process timesheets and prepare reports for payroll processing
- Provide management with requested reports and documents
- Coordinate events focused on employee recognition
- Accurately maintain employee files
Qualifications :
- 5+ years of HR experience within the manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of labor and employment laws
- Ability to build rapport with all employees
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
