About the Role - Are you a professional who has a solid background in building relationships and a passion for selling and providing the best solutions for customers? We have a great opportunity for a Sales Manager, supporting the Knoxville, TN market. This position is based out of our Knoxville office and reports to our VP of Sales - Central Region.


Responsibilities:

  • Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
  • Implementing a strategic sales plan that expands Novatech’s customer base
  • Coaching, mentoring, and training sales team
  • Building and promoting strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Presenting sales, revenue, and expenses reports and realistic forecasting to executive teams
  • Identifying emerging market and market shifts while being fully aware of industry products and services and competition status
  • Networking with the local community and seek new business
  • Exemplifying how to hunt new business by cold calling and responding to leads
  • Training team on how to maintain assigned territory with excellent customer service
  • Becoming an expert on all products, services, and solutions Novatech offers to clients


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Demonstrated success in B2B outside sales
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in sales leadership
  • Proven ability to drive sales process from plan to close
  • Strong business acumen and industry expertise (or willingness to become an expert)
  • Phenomenal mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
