Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s facility inBonham, TX. This is a 17-week contract (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team in Bonham, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent patient care and assisting in daily administrative and clinical tasks. • Key Responsibilities:
• Take vitals, perform medication reconciliation, and chart patient information accurately.
• Provide support to physicians with patient care, including administering shots, wound care, and other medical procedures.
• Perform e-fax submissions for referrals, medical record requests, and home health orders.
• Make daily calls to patients to update them on lab results and medical needs.
• Prepare patient charts and organize lab requests for the day.

Qualifications:

• Experience with E-Clinical Works.
• Prior medical office experience.
• Experience in caring for elderly patients.
• Understanding of quality measures in healthcare.
• Medical Assistant Certification.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Active BLS

• Location: Bonham, TX
• Job Type: 17-week contract
• Shifts: Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM (Lunch: 12PM - 1PM)
• Pay Range : $700-$800 Weekly

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
