Pride Health is hiring for a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Lebanon, IN. This is a 6-month opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare examination rooms and sterilizing equipment
• Room patients, obtain health history, check vital signs and perform EKG’s
• Administer injections and collect specimen
• Document patient care using NextGen electronic medical record software
• Schedule appointments, complete prior authorizations, process medication refills, handle referrals, answer calls and complete paperwork
• Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with minor, in-office procedures

Qualifications:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical Assistant Diploma
• Year Recent Primary Care Experience
• 1+ Year Recent Phlebotomy Experience
• 1+ Year Recent Medication Administration Experience (Vaccinations)
• Ability to commute to the office location.
• Must obtain certification prior to conversion

Schedule: 8 am to 5 pm

Pay Range: $18 to $22/hr (*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.)
