About The Role
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operational and product management strategies as we expand our psychiatric services across the United States. The COO will ensure seamless integration of care across company-operated clinics and hospital partnerships, driving operational efficiency and maintaining high standards of care. This role will oversee the implementation of streamlined workflows and scalable processes to optimize service delivery while reducing costs and improving patient outcomes. This role will drive growth opportunities and expanding the company into new markets while maintaining operational excellence. Through effective leadership and strategic execution, the COO will help propel the company's national growth and business success.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the company, ensuring efficiency in clinics and hospital-contracted services.
- Develop and implement scalable operational processes to support nationwide expansion, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Oversee partnerships with hospitals, ensuring seamless integration of psychiatric services and maintaining high standards of care.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for clinical and contract-based services, focusing on quality, efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards across all locations and partnerships.
- Drive cost control, revenue enhancement, and operational excellence across the company’s clinics and contracted facilities.
- Collaborate with the IT and clinical teams to lead the development of a custom Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, tailored to the company’s needs.
- Align technology infrastructure with the long-term strategic goals of the organization, positioning the company as a leader in health technology innovation.
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute the company’s national expansion plan.
- Identify new markets and partnership opportunities, expanding the company’s geographic footprint while maintaining operational standards.
- Build relationships with hospital systems, payors, and other stakeholders to support the company’s growth strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field (MBA or MHA preferred).
- MUST have hospital leadership experience
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare operations, with a focus on behavioral health or psychiatric services preferred.
- Proven experience in leading multi-location healthcare organizations, including overseeing partnerships with hospitals.
- Proficient in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, with a solid foundation of knowledge and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to scale operations in a fast-growing organization.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations (HIPAA, CMS, etc.) and industry best practices.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Additional Information
The expected base pay for this role will be between $220,000 to $250,000 annually at the commencement of employment, paid in USD. However, base pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location and years of experience. Further, base pay is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Psychplus Health-sponsored benefits.
