Job Description: As a member of the Plant I.T. team, you will be up close and assist the plant in producing these exciting new vehicles for the North American consumer market. Your responsibilities will include interfacing with and supporting the IT Infrastructure & Applications used in the plant. You will also contribute to process improvement efforts towards flexible and lean manufacturing, error proofing, and the manufacturing execution systems within the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support a multi-shift operation in a manufacturing plant, including working flexible hours (days, nights, and/or weekends) to support business processes.
• Provide technical support for IT Applications, Infrastructure, operating systems, and end-user productivity tools to plant business customers.
• Interface with Business IT and business owners to prioritize improvement efforts.
• Support Plant Floor Systems / PDO teams in resolving incidents, handling escalations, and providing hands-on support to various global teams (e.g., DBA, Server Operations, Ops Control, Network Operations).
• Focus on the integration and long-term maintenance of applications.
• Assist the team lead with managing assignments and workload.
• Develop, maintain, and share accurate support documentation.

Experience Required:

• A strong desire to learn manufacturing operations and business practices.
• Broad business and manufacturing perspective.
• Understanding of computer-based tools, computing infrastructure, and interest in processes that support manufacturing.
• Willingness to work in a high-pressure production environment and flexible working shifts.

• This is an onsite position.
• Must be able to work flexible hours in support of a multi-shift operation, including rotating schedules to support business processes (days, nights, and/or weekends).
