SAP Junior Project Manager / Project Coordinator

Fortune 500 firm seeking a Jr. Project Manager/Project Coordinator to help lead and drive projects for their enterprise SAP S/4HANA digital transformation project. This will be long-term contract and hybrid role requiring multiple days onsite per week in the Dunwoody area.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Coordination:

• Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Rise implementation projects.

• Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, and document minutes.

• Track project milestones and deliverables, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.

2. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk registers.

• Prepare and distribute regular project status reports to stakeholders.

• Ensure all project documents are stored in the appropriate repositories and are accessible to team members.

3. Communication and Collaboration:

• Facilitate effective communication among project team members, stakeholders, and external vendors.

• Support the Senior Project Manager in stakeholder engagement activities.

• Assist in the preparation of presentations and materials for project meetings.

4. Risk and Issue Management:

• Monitor project risks and issues, and assist in developing mitigation strategies. • Maintain the project risk and issue logs, ensuring they are up to date.

• Assist in the escalation of critical issues to the Senior Project Manager as needed.

5. Resource Management:

• Assist in the coordination of project resources, including scheduling and task assignments.

• Track resource utilization and availability to ensure optimal project staffing.

6. Quality Assurance:

• Support the implementation of project management best practices and standards.

• Conduct quality reviews of project deliverables and ensure compliance with project

Ideal candidate has 1-3 years experience in project management or project coordination, preferably within IT or SAP environments. Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and cloud technologies is a huge plus. Must have basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies. as well as strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are critical.
