Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Superintendent with extensive experience in healthcare construction. This role involves overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring adherence to project schedules, safety standards, and quality control requirements. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who can effectively manage teams and build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all on-site construction activities, ensuring healthcare projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures, especially in the sensitive environment of healthcare facilities.
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and efficient progress.
  • Conduct daily site inspections to monitor safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, architects, engineers, and other key stakeholders to provide project updates.
  • Resolve on-site issues promptly to keep projects on track and mitigate risks.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, RFIs, submittals, and daily reports.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare-specific regulations and standards, including infection control measures.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience as a Superintendent in healthcare construction.
  • Proven track record of managing complex healthcare projects, such as hospitals, medical office buildings, or surgical centers.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare facility regulations, including Joint Commission requirements and infection control procedures.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • OSHA 30-hour certification required; additional safety certifications preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for project oversight.
