The Davis Companies is currently recruiting for a 2nd Shift Sr. Test Technician for our manufacturing client in the Merrimack NH area. This is a contract to potential Hire opportunity. In this role you will be testing electronic military equipment. Candidates must train on 1st shift for 3 to 4 weeks before moving to 2nd Shift.

Pay Rate: $30 Per Hour

Schedule:

Training 1st Shift- 6am to 3:30pm Monday Through Friday

2nd Shift- 3:30pm to 1am Monday Through Friday

The Senior Technician performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, or optics areas by constructing, troubleshooting, calibrating, adjusting, testing and maintaining equipment, components, devices, or systems. The Senior Technician works with engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions while operating the related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. The Senior Technician performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.

Responsibilities and Tasks in order of priority to be successful

• Perform technical task as assigned by supervisor.

• Test engineering development boards.

• Build engineering prototypes.

• Build test boxes.

• Order parts.

• Maintain and update technical data packages.

• Run qualification and validation testing.

• Train other ESA personal.

• Participate in design reviews.

• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Skills and Abilities

• Associate in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent Experience.

• Working knowledge of Ohm’s law, AC & DC theory.

• Ability to read and understand schematics.

• Logical troubleshooting and debug skills.

• Ability to make analytical decisions.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in relevant field
