Position Title: IT Administrative Assistant
Duration: 6+ month - contract to hire
Location: Montgomery, AL (Onsite)
Position Description
The IT Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the IT section, handling procurement, service desk support, office administration, and team coordination. This role requires problem-solving, organization, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with IT procurement, vendor quotes, purchase requests, and invoices.
- Monitor and resolve Service Desk issues.
- Handle office administration tasks, including calendar management and onboarding/offboarding.
- Support a team of 21 employees and assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Service Desk software, Adobe Acrobat, and workflow systems.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organized with time management skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in administrative support, scheduling, document management, and procurement.
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality.
Experience Required:
- 3+ years of administrative support experience.
- Experience supporting IT teams or departments.
Education Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
