Job Title: Senior Data Engineer

Location: Winston Salem, NC

Duration: Full-Time

Job Description:

• Minimum 10 years of relevant IT experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering; graduate degree preferred.

• Payment industry experience (minimum 5 years) required.

• Extensive experience on large-scale and systemically important systems.

• Strong architectural knowledge of building supportable services.

• Excellent team leadership skills and experience.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Strong testing (functional and non-functional) skills.

• Proven experience in designing and building solution runs environment agnostic.

• Proven experience with AWS cloud.

• Professional communication both verbal and written.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and support for services and applications built by Platform Services.

• Provide team with assistance with production support, root cause analysis, and performance enhancements.

• Review vendor designs and source code to ensure the application meets functional and non-functional requirements.

• Lead the communication with internal and external counter parties.

• Lead design of ancillary Realtime Payments applications (e.g., Data Distribution, Fraud, Reporting, Etc.)

• Build services that will be used for the next generation of payment platforms as they modernize.

• Provide technical direction and support to multi-cloud and on-premises deployment and rotation

• Build training units Payments and CNI

• Build unit demonstrations for each service created.

• Build out the services team under the VP.

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position is $180K/year to $200K/year with benefits
