SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Marketing Director to lead and support marketing initiatives within the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans, managing product launches, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create impactful campaigns, maintain regulatory compliance, and drive overall market success.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute comprehensive product launch strategies, including market analysis and business planning.
  • Create and manage branded and unbranded promotional materials and marketing campaigns.
  • Map customer journeys and define target personas to inform marketing strategies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external marketing agencies.
  • Collaborate with sales, managed markets, regulatory affairs, and procurement teams to ensure marketing initiatives align with business objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and support speaker programs and industry events.
  • Design and deliver sales training programs and provide resources to ensure the successful execution of campaigns.
  • Conduct market research, analyze customer insights, and monitor competitive activity to guide strategic decisions.
  • Ensure all promotional materials comply with FDA regulations and PhRMA guidelines.
  • Manage the medical, legal, and regulatory approval processes for marketing content.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Advanced knowledge of marketing principles, particularly in the pharmaceutical or medical device industries.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data-driven decision-making.
  • Proven track record of successfully planning and executing product launches.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; advanced presentation skills preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
  • Thorough understanding of FDA and PhRMA guidelines for marketing materials.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
  • At least 7 years of progressive marketing experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or surgical product industries.
  • Demonstrated success in product launches is required.
  • Experience in wound care or skin care marketing is a plus.
