Job Description

SUMMARY

We are currently searching for an experienced Director of Human Resources, a key role within the company. This individual will be the leader for all functions of Human Resources and responsible for strategic planning of HR activities involving recruiting, compensation, benefits, employee relations, etc., while overseeing 115+ employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead key HR initiatives including staffing, performance management, organization design and planning, talent development and employee relations.
  • Participate in business planning and ensure alignment of HR delivery with business goals at the site. Establish objectives and deliver the HR strategy for the attainment of the company’s vision and objectives.
  • Support managers and teams through enhancing their capability to deliver the company’s objectives, manage their people, implement change, and build relations with key stakeholders.
  • Establish recruitment procedures including exploring suitable recruitment network.
  • Take a leadership role in organizational design, transformation, and change management
  • Partner with assigned groups on initiatives including participation in the diversity agenda, high performance culture, organizational design & change, learning & development, employer branding.
  • Participate in the ideation and organization of employee events related to HR strategic initiatives (diversity, talent development, morale etc.)
  • Conduct job pricing benchmark and provide HR related information to management.
  • Employ budget-conscious mindset and apply creative solutions to ensure cost-effectiveness across all HR activities.
  • Oversee the management of the Company’s total rewards that includes employee’s health and welfare, short-term and long-term incentive programs, employee rewards and recognition, and field sales incentive payout.
  • Oversee the Company’s performance management system ensuring the system is up-to-date, competitive, and aligned with pay for performance.
  • Establish employee training program based on the needs of department heads/employees.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 10+ years of HR experience with 3 to 5 years of direct supervisory responsibility of staff.
  • Strong working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including strategic talent reviews, employee engagement best practices, performance management, compensation practices, organizational effectiveness, employee relations, and federal and state respective employment laws.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred.
  • Ability to balance a strategic focus with a strong orientation towards process improvement and an analytical, detail-oriented perspective.
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Office, HRIS system and all standard current computer applications
  • Experience in Machine Tool industry is helpful.

COMPENSATION : $150,000 - $175,000
