Direct hire with a nonprofit organization
- Chicago-based candidates only
- Hybrid, 3-5 days per month onsite in loop
- Role is currently funded for 2 years with possibility of extending
- Reports to VP
- Work with warm, diverse team of approx. 10 people (great collaboration)
- Compensation: $90k-$100k plus outstanding benefits
Overview
- Develop and implement compensation programs and strategies
- Remain abreast of industry best practices and handle benchmarking
- Establish merit increase process
- Work with leaders in the planning for salary, equity and promotion pay adjustments
- Analyze compensation data and conduct market analysis
- Update data in HCM system such as job classifications and salary grades
- Engage with recruiters in evaluating compensation and extending appropriate employment offers
- Provide thought leadership and act as subject matter expert
- Assist in performance review process
- Lead implementation of new HRIS
Ideal candidate
- 5-7 years of experience in Compensation/Total Rewards
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred
- Bachelor’s degree, ideally in HR or Business Administration
- Nonprofit experience a plus
- Analytical skills, tech savvy, strong research skills, excellent communication
