Job Description:
The Compensation Manager will lead the creation, execution, and management of compensation programs that attract, motivate, and retain top talent while ensuring alignment with company goals. This role involves collaborating with multiple departments to enhance compensation structures, including base pay and incentive programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of competitive compensation programs, including base salary and variable pay plans (e.g., bonuses, commissions).
- Regularly analyze market compensation trends to ensure offerings remain competitive within the industry.
- Manage the annual merit and compensation review cycles, ensuring fairness and alignment with the organization’s objectives.
- Ensure compensation programs comply with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Provide strategic guidance to leadership on the total compensation package’s impact on employee satisfaction and retention.
- Work closely with HR, senior leadership, and business units to align compensation offerings with overall company strategy.
- Support compensation decision-making for executive roles, particularly in recruitment and offer stages.
- Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of compensation programs through data analysis and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Oversee Payroll processing, including bi-weekly, monthly, and bonus payments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- 5-7 years of experience in compensation management or total rewards, with a focus on compensation strategy.
- Proven track record in developing and managing competitive compensation programs.
- CCP certification is preferred; HR/Total Rewards/Compensation certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, SPHR, CEBS) are a plus.
- Strong understanding of compensation structures, variable pay plans, and employee benefits.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with HR technology platforms and data analysis tools.
