Senior Electrical Engineer

RL Enterprise Recruiting & Staffing iscurrently seeking a highly skilled Sr. Electrical Engineer for an exciting long-term contract opportunity with a prominent client in the nuclear construction industry. This role offers the chance to work on groundbreaking projects within a state-of-the-art facility, contributing to the success of critical infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in electrical engineering, particularly in the energy or nuclear sectors, and will play a key role in the design, construction documentation preparation and related phases of engineering within a high-stakes environment. Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications is required.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and coordinate electrical engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects, including equipment manufacturers
• Prepare and modify electrical design drawings (e.g., single line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagram layouts, raceway, lighting, and grounding)
• Interpret and apply National, State, and Local codes and standards, and customer design requirements for the preparation of electrical design/construction documents, specifications, and system descriptions related to assigned tasks through project startup
• Prepare engineering cost and schedule estimates
• Generate and review the accuracy of design/evaluation calculations, and specifications
• Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications is required

Basic Job Requirements

U.S. Citizenship Required:

• Due to the nature of the projects and government security requirements, all candidates must be U.S. citizens.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical (Power) Engineering with a minimum of 10 years’

experience in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering.

• Nuclear related experience is strongly preferred
• Professional Engineer License preferred but not required
• Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State,

and Local codes and standards applicable to electrical engineering design
