Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Configuration Manager to lead efforts in supporting and optimizing the ServiceNow platform. This role involves requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and maintenance of various ServiceNow modules, including SecOps, IRM, and CAM, with a focus on automating NIST RMF activities. The role also includes operations and maintenance (O&M), development, modernization, and enhancements (DME) to integrate enterprise tools and cloud services such as AWS, Azure, and Salesforce.
The position involves Agile practices, close collaboration with internal teams, and ensuring the system maintains its Authority to Operate (ATO).
Responsibilities:
- Manage and track configuration items across the ServiceNow ITSM suite and associated applications (e.g., Change Management, Incident Management, Service Portal).
- Conduct comprehensive data analysis using MS Excel and Power Query to assess findings, identify discrepancies, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Create and share detailed reports and dashboards within ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM applications.
- Collaborate with teams to implement ServiceNow best practices, ensuring system resiliency and adherence to Agile methodologies.
- Support integration efforts for enterprise tools and cloud services to enhance platform functionality.
- Ensure compliance with IT Service Management (ITSM) concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Provide operations and maintenance (O&M) support, including configuration updates and module enhancements.
- Assist in maintaining and advancing the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
Required Qualifications:
3–5 years of experience in managing ServiceNow ITSM applications, including configuration management, dashboard creation, and reporting.
3 years of experience using tools like MS Excel and Power Query for comprehensive data analysis and mitigation strategies.
3 years of hands-on experience in Configuration Management Database (CMDB) work.
5–7 years of overall experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) concepts, practices, and procedure
knowledge of MS Excel and Power Query for data analysis.
Proficient in ServiceNow ITSM suite and associated applications, including reporting and dashboard creation.
Experience with ITOM-related applications and CMDB management.
IT Infrastructure Library (ITILv3 or ITILv4) Foundations certification.
Completion of ServiceNow CMDB Fundamentals or 3+ years of experience in CMDB work.
Familiarity with Agile practices and methodologies.
Hands-on experience with NIST RMF activities and automation.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience integrating enterprise tools and cloud services (AWS, Azure, Salesforce).
- Demonstrated success in delivering performance-based deliverables emphasizing ServiceNow best practices.
