Role: Admissions Representative
Company: Nationwide Behavioral Healthcare Organization
Location: Irvine, CA | On-site
Schedule: Overnight shift. Training period: 2 weeks, 12 AM - 8 AM, Monday-Friday.
Pay Rate: $20-22/hour, depending on experience.
Position Summary:
The role of the Admissions Representative is to answer incoming calls, obtain demographic and insurance information from the callers, speak to basic program information, qualify Leads, and convert Leads to Pre-Admissions (Cases) for handoff to Admissions Coordinators.
Responsibilities:
- Follow up with leads/web inquiries and assign to Coordinators.
- Respond to department voicemails and abandoned calls.
- Track call types using Call Tracking.
- Follow up on Treatment Consultant calls.
- Answer general inquiries professionally and accurately.
- Input client demographics and insurance information quickly.
- Transfer calls as needed and prioritize urgent cases.
- Work collaboratively with the team and stay organized.
- Flexibility required for early mornings, late evenings, or weekends.
Qualifications:
- Behavioral health and/or call center experience preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bilingual skills (Preferred)
- Behavioral Health Knowledge: Understanding of the field and insurance verification (a plus)
- Education and Experience: Behavioral health experience preferred; call center experience is a plus
- Sales/Customer Service Experience: Background in these areas is beneficial
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
