Office Manager

Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and provide administrative support to their organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to managing office functions, all while ensuring smooth interactions with the public, members, and leadership.


This role is onsite working Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9AM-1PM in Oregon City, Oregon.


Office Manager Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the day-to-day operations of the business office, including implementing standardized procedures and ensuring adequate supplies.
  • Coordinate and publish a monthly newsletter and weekly emails to the congregation as needed.
  • Prepare weekly Sunday service bulletins in collaboration with the pastor, music team, and others.
  • Maintain the master calendar, ensuring accurate scheduling of events and activities.
  • Serve as a point of contact for vendors, building renters, and contracted parties, addressing various issues as they arise.
  • Oversee building security while on-site.
  • Act as a liaison with the website manager to facilitate updates and information sharing.
  • Assist with the coordination of special events, functions, and recruitment efforts.
  • Manage files and assist in maintaining database quality with accurate contact information.
  • Provide general office support, including responding to inquiries from the public, members, and leadership.


  • Office Manager Qualifications Minimum of five years’ experience as an Office Manager, with proven ability to work effectively with leadership and boards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, internet applications, and general computer operations.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse groups, including volunteers and church members.
  • Comfort with church-related work and familiarity with the language associated with Christian church services.
  • Experience coordinating publications such as newsletters and managing office communications.
  • Ability to write professional reports, business correspondence, and respond effectively to inquiries.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and teamwork capabilities.
  • Physical ability to perform office tasks, including lifting up to 10 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds.


Compensation: $28-$35/hr. (DOE)
