This firm specializes in ground-up development and repositioning of residential, office, and industrial properties, deploying over $5 billion in total deal capitalization.
The firm is currently seeking a motivated Analyst with 1-2 years of experience to join the Investment and Portfolio Management team. This role provides comprehensive exposure to the investment process, including acquisitions, asset management, and development. The Analyst will engage in quantitative analysis, financial modeling, and market research to support the firm's investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct underwriting for new investment opportunities, including both income-generating assets and development projects.
- Build and maintain financial models, including discounted cash flows, joint venture structures, and sensitivity analyses.
- Assist with due diligence and closing activities, collaborating with brokers, property managers, and lenders.
- Create and update financial reporting packages for MRP’s capital partners.
- Conduct market research and analyze macroeconomic and local trends to shape investment strategies.
- Develop business plans and prepare investment memos for internal presentations and investment committees.
- Utilize Argus to input market and property assumptions for cash flow projections.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in real estate, finance, or capital markets.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and Argus Enterprise.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
