The Role:
Swagelok Denver is seeking an individual to join our team as a Production Scheduler. The Production Scheduler’s primary responsibility is to manage all aspects of the production schedule including date management and capacity planning. The Production Scheduler reports to the Custom Solutions Manager.
What you will do:
· Create, plan, release, and close production orders in the business system (SAP B1).
· Develop the production schedule and set overall production and activity start/complete dates based on customer requirements, inventory, and production capacity
· Create and release production pick lists for production orders. Manually issue inventory with batch information, as required.
· Manage production order and sales order dates within the business system (SAP B1) and notify correct parties of updates as needed.
· Process stock transfers between locations to meet production order demand.
· Update production activity time based on feedback from production team to increase accuracy in the schedule.
· Proactively communicate production related delays to relevant parties including production, quality, purchasing, and the account managers.
· Escalate expedites and capacity constraints to relevant parties.
· Participate in operational meetings and lead or participate in daily shift meetings.
· Develop and maintain work instructions for all documented processes.
· Quality administrative functions such as documenting non-conformances, taking pictures of assemblies and organizing paperwork records as required by the Quality System.
· Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
· Degree in related field and/or 2-4 years related experience
· Highly organized, strong thinking skills and transactional management – This individual must be results-oriented and skilled at managing/measuring their work and keeping the production schedule organized and on track
· Business acumen and Organizational Awareness - To perform the job successfully, this individual must demonstrate and communicate business objectives; follow policies and procedures; and support the organization’s goals and values.
· Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships with all levels of associates
· Effective oral and written communication skills
· Self-directed having the ability to manage daily tasks and large projects from start to finish
· Works well under pressure, meets deadlines, and can multi-task
· Proficient in Microsoft business applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Physical Requirements:
Must have the ability to lift, push, pull and carry 50lbs or more. Must be comfortable sitting, standing, walking, squatting, and bending throughout shift.
