Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s facility in McKinney, TX. This is a 13-week contract (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant to join a clinical team in North Richland Hills, TX. This contract to hire position offers the opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidates will assist in delivering patient care, follow provider orders, and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in patient care by following through with provider orders for treatments.

· Take patient vital signs, conduct blood draws, and perform diagnostic and point-of-care testing.

· Answer patient calls, make follow-up calls, and manage incoming electronic documents.

· Utilize Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems to document patient information.

· Coordinate and assist with any necessary clinical tasks to support providers.

Qualifications:

· Minimum 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant

· Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding.

· Current CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications.

· High School diploma or equivalent (GED).

· Job Type: 13-week contract

· Shifts: 5x8, Mon-Fri, 08AM-05PM

· Pay Range : $700-$800 Weekly
