Job Title: Data Governance Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage data governance initiatives, focusing on the implementation and management of tools such as Collibra and other relevant frameworks.
• Provide strategic direction and hands-on management of the overall data governance strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders, participate in governance boards, and maintain strong, effective relationships across teams and departments.
• Oversee the management of metadata, enterprise data catalogs, and the establishment of comprehensive data governance policies.
• Offer expert advice on data governance best practices, ensuring policies are effectively executed across the organization.
• Drive the implementation of data governance frameworks using tools like Collibra, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
• Champion the adoption of data governance practices and lead continuous improvements in data management across the organization.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in data governance or related roles, with a preference for candidates with consulting experience.
• Proven hands-on expertise with data governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica, or similar platforms.
• Extensive experience managing metadata, enterprise data catalogs, and data governance policies and standards.
• Strong technical foundation in data governance, including proficiency in SQL and familiarity with tools for data cataloging and inventory management.
• A managerial background with a focus on being actively engaged in project execution, providing both leadership and technical expertise.
• Excellent communication skills, with experience in client-facing roles, including presenting findings, insights, and reports to diverse audiences.
• Prior experience in consulting or client management is preferred.
