Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Payroll Administrator to join our team. The Payroll Administrator will ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees, while maintaining compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local regulations. This role involves analyzing payroll data, addressing discrepancies, and assisting with process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Payroll Processing : Ensure accurate and timely processing of bi-weekly/monthly payroll for all employees.
- Compliance : Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, wage laws, and company policies.
- Data Analysis : Analyze payroll data, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Reporting : Prepare payroll reports for management, auditors, and government agencies as required.
- Employee Support : Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and benefits.
- Auditing : Assist in internal and external payroll audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
- System Management : Collaborate with HR and IT to manage payroll system updates and configurations.
- Process Improvement : Recommend and implement enhancements to payroll processes for efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience : Minimum of 2-3 years of payroll processing experience. Experience with SAP preferred.
- Skills :
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, SAP preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
