This role involves collaborating closely with our Research & Development (R&D) team in China , with up to 50% of the year spent overseas to drive product alignment with our brand vision.

About the Role

The Senior Brand Manager will take ownership of Rowan Appliance’s brand strategy and execution, ensuring our products and messaging resonate with customers worldwide. This role requires an experienced leader with deep industry knowledge, a strategic mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Brand Strategy Leadership: Develop, refine, and implement a global brand strategy that positions Rowan Appliance as an industry leader.
• Global Collaboration: Partner with the R&D team in China to ensure product development aligns with the brand’s vision, customer expectations, and market trends.
• Product Branding: Oversee the branding of key product categories, including electric fireplaces, ice makers, wine coolers, portable ACs, BBQ grills and more, ensuring consistency in design, messaging, and market positioning.
• Market Analysis: Conduct thorough research to identify trends, customer preferences, and opportunities to differentiate Rowan Appliance in the global market.
• Marketing Integration: Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute campaigns that drive brand awareness and customer loyalty.
• Performance Evaluation: Monitor and analyze brand performance metrics, using data to refine strategies and enhance results.
• Competitor Insights: Stay informed about competitors’ branding and marketing strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
• Travel to China: Work onsite with the R&D team in China for up to 50% of the year , fostering seamless integration between product development and branding efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience: At least 7 years of experience in brand management, marketing, or a related role, with a strong track record in the home appliance industry.
• Product Knowledge: Deep familiarity with appliance technologies and trends, especially in electric fireplaces, ice makers, wine coolers, portable ACs, and BBQ grills.
• Global Expertise: Proven experience working with international teams, particularly in Asia, and managing cross-cultural collaboration.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead branding initiatives and manage cross-functional teams effectively.
• Strategic Vision: Strong analytical and creative skills to develop and execute impactful brand strategies.
• Cultural Adaptability: Comfortable working in diverse cultural environments and building cross-border relationships.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Travel Requirement: Ability to travel internationally and work in China for up to 50% of the year.
