Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Packaging Engineer with experience in the pharmaceutical industry. This role involves supporting senior staff in the initiation, design, and delivery of projects, particularly for Packaging Equipment C&Q, Characterization, and Validation. You will employ basic engineering skills to gather user requirements and translate them into technical documentation for execution by third-party firms. You will also perform engineering studies, assessments, and field evaluations of existing systems, providing engineering design recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the manufacturing floor and ensure the smooth operation of the packaging line.
• Create and maintain CGMP documentation.
• Validate and troubleshoot packaging equipment.
• Perform data analysis to optimize packaging processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve packaging operations.

Ideal Candidate:

• 2+ years of experience in Pharmaceutical Packaging.
• Knowledge of data analysis, CGMP documentation, and Packaging Equipment Validation.
• Flexible with shift hours and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with different levels of the organization.
• Team player with a process-driven mindset and a proactive approach to improving processes.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree OR
• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience OR
• Associate’s degree and 6 years of experience OR
• High school diploma/GED and 8 years of experience

Schedule:

• Flexible with shifts
• Primary hours: 8 AM - 5 PM ET (60%)
• Off regular hours for 2nd or 3rd shift (40%)
• Monday-Friday with possible occasional weekend shifts
• Extended, second, and third shifts required as per project needs

Travel:

• Up to 10% travel may be required
