Job Title: M&A Integration Manager - Procurement
Location: Pleasanton, CA
Duration: 6+ months
About the Role:
Client is looking for a M&A Integration Manager who will focus on supporting the Procurement activities to integrate the supply base of our acquired companies. In this position, you will determine and execute on the opportunities for supplier and contract consolidation, renegotiation or termination, project manage and execute key workstreams, coordinate cross-functionally, and operate at all levels of the organization. The end-to-end integration is highly data driven and you will need strong analytical skills to gather, consolidate, and manage supplier contracts and data. Therefore, you must have a keen eye for detail, excellent project management and communication skills, and be able to move seamlessly from tactical to strategic.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate supplier transition activities based on contracts as well as data gathered from Client teams and the acquired company.
• Support data gathering, data migration, QA/testing, and data upload activities
• Support the creation, disposition and tracking of supplier assignment and termination letters
• Collaborate with teams across product, finance, people, IT, legal, and operations to ensure smooth transitions, mitigate risks, and realize value from our acquisitions
• Manage reports, dashboards, and statuses and provide clear and timely communications to internal stakeholders, management, M&A team, etc
• Serve as a point of contact between internal stakeholders and the integration team, providing regular updates and reports on progress, risks, and outcomes
• Address and resolve integration-related issues, ensuring smooth communication and decision-making across teams
Basic Qualifications:
• 5+ years of direct experience in business analysis, project management, contracts management, procurement, supply Chain, or sourcing OR (combination of below experience & education)
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, deliver under tight deadlines, and meet organizational goals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Proactive, results-oriented, punctual, persuasive, and an excellent teammate
Additional Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance or related degree program
• Excellent understanding of contracts and contract management
